Want to get a snapshot of what really happens at the University of Chester?

For the past three years we've been running the Student Snapshot competition for students studying at the University of Chester to submit a photo that captures a memory or experience whilst here and to let us know in no more than 50 words why they chose it.

Campus Tours

If you missed our recent series of Open Days, don’t worry!  You can still visit us prior to applying by booking yourself onto a tour of either the Chester Campus or the Warrington Campus.  Campus tours take place every week and enable you to see the facilities we have on offer and also sample Chester’s award winning student experience
Binks Building - Chester Campus

Covering general student facilities such as the library, fitness centre and Students’ Union, on a campus tour you’ll be able to gain an insight into university life at Chester.   We’d also recommend taking advantage of the quality time you get to spend with our enquiries team tour guides.  A perfect opportunity perhaps to ask all those questions you’ve been storing up?

Depending on their availability, you might even be able to organise a one-to-one with a tutor from the course you are interested in.  Our advice here is to organise this prior to booking your campus tour.

If you’re keen to find out more about our student residences, your tour guide can even provide further details on the various types of accommodation we have on offer, giving you a real insight into the options available.  However, due to the frequency of campus tours, it isn’t always possible to guarantee a viewing of our student residences.

If would like to book a campus tour call us 01244 512800. If you’re unsure which campus to book a tour for, don’t worry.  Just give us a call and we can let you know.

We look forward to seeing you soon.

Can you afford not to go to university?

If you are considering going to university in 2014, don’t let student finance be a barrier. Whilst the arrangements for student finance in England may have changed beyond recognition in recent years, they are often vastly misunderstood. The headline figure that appears to grab everybody’s attention is the £9,000 tuition fees that the majority of universities are now charging. It’s a scary prospect, after all debt is something many of us instinctively try to avoid. However, whilst a university education isn't cheap, you really shouldn't let this worry you or stop you. And here’s why…
