On Saturday 5th October we had the first of our Autumn Open Days for prospective students thinking of applying for 2014 entry. As always, there was a real buzz around campus and we encouraged those in attendance to tweet about their experiences. Here’s a flavour of what was being said…

Those in attendance on Saturday had the opportunity to sample taster lecturers and meet course tutors on a one-to-one basis within our Information Fair. As well as all this, visitors were also able meet current Chester students, explore our beautiful city centre campus on our student-led campus tours and view our brand new accommodation block. All in all, judging by some of the comments, we think we gave quite a good account of ourselves. And, if you’re wondering what the picture of the rocket is all about, this was on campus to mark the launch (no pun intended) of our new science and engineering campus in Thornton.

If you want to see what all the fuss is about and sample Chester’s award winning student experience for yourself, you still can. We have another Open Day this Saturday and we’d love to see you there! But if you can’t make it this Saturday, don’t worry as there are plenty of opportunities to visit us throughout the year.

If you were one of those who attended on Saturday, thanks for stopping by.  If not, hopefully we’ll see you on Saturday 12th October instead?

Until the next communication,
